Each school in NSW offers something slightly different depending on the community. Here's what we offer for you.
All canteens in NSW public schools must meet certain requirements. These include providing more healthy food and drink options – to make the healthy choice an easy choice for students. Visit Healthy school canteens to learn more.
Bundeena Bites is a P & C operated canteen, run by Amanda Mooney and Tanya Lawrence with the assistance of a wonderful pool of volunteer parents and grandparents.
We adhere to the Healthy Canteen guidelines, providing healthy homemade recess snacks and lunch. Over 90% of Bundeena Bites food is made from fresh ingredients on the premises, no preservatives, additives or numbers. See our menu for details of what we offer our students.
We also provide a Birthday Cupcake service which is delivered to your child's classroom before recess on Monday, Wednesday and Friday's or to be collected from the office before school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Order forms can be collected from the office or printed from this link . Order can be placed by dropping of order form and cash in an envelope into your child's lunch order tray or to the office 1 week prior to date required.
If you would like to volunteer for 1 day per term (approx. 3.5 hours) please contact Amanda Mooney by email firstname.lastname@example.org
When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.
Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:
meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation
includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics
is appropriate for the full range of school activities
